Self Confidence, a term used to describe how secure a person is in his own decisions and actions. Confidence is not about 'whether they will like me or not', it is about, 'I am perfect whether they like it or not.' But, why is it so important that you're getting to read a whole blog about it?
That is because self confidence makes you a stronger person, mentally. It is a big aspect of one's personality having which can make 80% things in your life easier to accomplish.
Now, what are the aspects of being self-confident? One of them is, to believe in what you do without being affected even if others mock or criticize it. After all, if you have a dream, take risks, go ahead, no one will stop you and if someone mocks, let them be. Someone else's criticizing wouldn't make your dream any less important or your efforts useless.
The second one, is the ability to take risks and go an extra mile for achievement. Yes, you can achieve them, and you can take risks. Have faith, and believe that you are strong and you will achieve your goals.

Now enough of the aspects and benefits, what can you do to gather up that confidence in you?
The first step is to build self-efficiency inside us. It refers to one's confidence in their ability to complete a task or achieve a goal. Let me give a very common example-
You love playing badminton and you have an upcoming badminton championship. You are very nervous about what is going to happen because the opponent is quite strong. Now, there can be two consequences,
A) You start becoming anxious and in that fear and anxiousness mess the game up and end up saying that the opponent was stronger and the game wasn't fair (that’s what most of us do)
B) You rethink your fears and realize that if the opponent Is strong, am I not? Yes, I am strong and I have practiced hard as well. In this case, you believed in your ability and even if you lose, you will accept your mistake (hopefully), learn from it and move on.
The second step is to be competent with your own self. Forget the world, You are your own competition. Beat yourself, break your records and promise yourself to be a better version of you each day.
The third and final one is to be assertive and empower your own life for being successful. For this, you first need to know your own self. What do I like? What do I want to do? Doing what makes me feel the happiest? Once you know the answers to these questions, it will be much easier for you to make decisions in your life about yourself. And once you are capable enough to do so, self confidence comes in on its own!
At the end, I would only want to say, doubt your doubts, love yourself, know yourself and forgive yourself for all the mistakes you have ever made. Have faith in you, be confident!
